Kids and Dogs

Many years ago, children were free to run through open grassy fields, they played tug-o-war and King of the Hill. They also took their dogs down to the river, or pond, to fish and swim.

As the population began to move into the cities, they built fences to keep their pets in and parks for the children to run and play. They rode their bikes in the street as the dogs chased them up and down the fenceline, hoping to get out and run with them.

Today, our kids run and play in the virtual world of digital technology and we take our dogs to the Dog Park, to run and play with other dogs.

I’m glad I’m not a child in today’s world. Or a dog, for what it’s worth.
