About: Norman Thomas Cooper

- Born in 1975, Norman Cooper spent his first years with his family in central Texas before moving to Oklahoma. He spent much of his childhood in the Sooner state and considers this to be his home. After becoming an active member of the Internet Writing Workshop, Norman decided to revisit the passion of writing from his youth. Since beginning this journey one year ago, he can proudly boast that two of his creations have been published online. Norman is currently focused on writing flash fiction and short fiction, with the hope of writing a book soon. His story Under the Oak Tree is currently online at joyful! “Make a joyful! Noise…” and his prose poem The Spirit Drummer will be available on The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature in April 2009. Norman is an aspiring writer and book lover. He currently works as a building engineer and writes whenever he has the chance. With his wife of 13 years and their four children, Norman lives and works in the Houston area.
